Advertising or sponsored content is identified as such

Editorial or  advertising content? Background article or broadcast ? Impartial notice or  sponsored ticket? It is better to specify what this is about, so readers will know what to do and will not blame you.

Objectives

  • Allow immeditate identification of advertising or sponsored content.
  • Avoid confusion between editorial and advertising content.
  • Prevent risks associated with integer conflicts.

Implementation

    • Report advertisements with a mention that identifies them (advertising, ads,…partnerships).
    • As far as possible, graphically separate the advertisement of the rest of the content.

Control

  • Within the book reviewed :
    • Identify Ad content.
    • Please ensure that all spaces dedicated to the advertisement differ from the rest of the content and include an indication to identify them unambiguously; : Typically, the word “advertised” displays above or below the content concerned.
