Objectives

• Provide users with a text transcript as an alternative.
• Allow indexing and search by the search engine of the reading application.
• Allow translation with language tools.

Implementation

• Accompagner chaque contenu audio d’une transcription :
  • soit intégrale (contenant les paroles et une description des sons nécessaires à la compréhension) ;
  • soit synthétique (mais reflétant la totalité de l’information).
• La transcription peut : figurer dans la page où se trouve le contenu audio ; ou être immédiatement accessible par un lien présent dans la page où se trouve le contenu audio.

Control

• Identify each page containing multimedia content and, in the immediate context of each audio item, ensure the presence of a transcript or a link providing immediate access to it.
