Type something to search... Previous rule | Rule 044 | Next rule Le livre numérique n’applique pas le même style aux liens visités et non visités
Making it possible to identify links already visited compared to unvisited links thanks to the styles is essential at a minimum reading comfort.
Objectives
- Help users identify content they have already visited.
- Help users identify content left to explore.
- Encourage the discovery of new content
Implementation
- Do not apply the same CSS styles by default for unvisited links (readers a or a:link) and for visited links (reader a:visited).
Control
- On each page containing hyperlinks:
- Verify the presence of the :visited selector in the CSS stylesheets and confirm it applies a style different from a or a:link;<0>
- Otherwise, verify the absence of the :visited selector to allow the reading device’s default styling to apply
Validation
- Needs to be verified by a human.
