The digital book does not apply the same style to links visited and not visited.

Making it possible to identify links already visited compared to unvisited links thanks to the styles is essential at a minimum reading comfort.

Objectives

  • Facilitate the identification of previously visited content.
  • Facilitate the identification of the remaining content to be discovered.
  • Inciting new content discovery

Implementation

  • Do not apply the same CSS styles by default for unvisited links (readers a or a:link) and for visited links (reader a:visited).

Control

  • On each page containing hyperlinks :
    • Controlling the presence and use of receiver :visited in CSS stylesheets and using a different style from the one applied to a or a:link or so; li>
    • Control the absence of setter :visited in CSS stylesheets to let the default reading device style apply
